I've been wanting to learn to surf since the early 90's... I even booked a 4 hour session with a surf coach last month and didn't do very well. I got up on my feet a couple of times for a few seconds. Something new...
Tomorrow is try 2 for surfing lessons... last week I drove here and we had lightning so we rescheduled for this week. I hope I can get my time in the water this week. I'd hate to have driven to Florida twice for no reason. -

I'm still outside of Savannah, GA and I am still not feeling that this is the right place. My parent's keep saying to give it time as we're still in pandemic mode and once things are back to normal I may like it... but it's hard. Watching ZDF... I heard we have a president elect
It's odd that I was watching ZDF heute and I heard that Biden won on a German broadcast first... I know Trump is going to protest it but I hope things turn around and we begin to value science, the environment, and people's right to be who they are... Hopefully things will get better from here! Now I'm going to watch the rest of the broadcast... -
I'm still thinking members of my family are sheep led by social media hype....
My aunt just shared this rant to FB that said more people die from getting the flu shot than have from Covid... yes, there can be issues with the flu shot, fainting and resulting head trauma that leads to death, Guillain-Barré syndrome in 1 or 2 per million and is 5% fatal, and occasional anaphylaxis that however doesn't add up to more people dying ( Read more... ) -

I have one cousin that seems to still think that Covid-19 is just a hoax so the Democrats can discredit Trump. She seems to think he is the best thing that ever happened to this country.
