If you don't mind, I would like to hear about the holidays you celebrate in different worlds, or even different places in the same world.

In Poland we celebrate my birthday!!!

[Along with other things, but his birthday is the most important. And technically it's not even a birthday, but the Independence Day.]

In Sternbild, we celebrate something called Halloween, where people dress up in costumes and go around collecting candy from anyone who's passing it out. It's a lot of fun! [Also happens to be the birthday of one of her Hero co-workers, but that's neither here nor there.]

Well...all kinds, really. Sometimes people just wear a bedsheet and pretend they're a ghost or something. Others get really creative with their costumes, and some make every part of a costume themselves.

In my home country, we have a few holidays coming up over the next three months. There's Halloween, a day where people dress up in costumes and go door to door for treats (usually candy). Very popular with kids, but adults enjoy it too.

Thanksgiving is in November. It's a day where family and friends gather together and share in a big feast.

Then there's Christmas in December, a day where gifts are exchanged between friends and family.

Halloween and Christmas, I have heard about. But you must all be from the same world, then, to have so many similar holidays.

I think I would enjoy a meal called simply 'thanks giving.'

Earth seems to be a very popular world here. Many of my friends are from some version of it. It's quite odd.

It can be quite a fancy meal or something simple, but it's usually based around being with the ones you care about and sharing in good memories. There are, however, some fairly traditional aspects of the meal. Roasted turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce.

Well, there's Halloween coming up. Most people dress up and either go to parties or door-to-door to get free candy. Usually kids are the ones who go trick-or-treating.

I've actually been to a world centered around Halloween.

Christmas is in the winter. People celebrate by getting gifts for friends and family. Sometimes they go to parties or eat a huge dinner. Oh, and some people think this guy named Santa Claus brings presents to everyone who's been good that year.

[Which he still finds a little hard to believe.]

There are others, but those are the first two that come to mind.

That's right. Everybody from that world resembles some Halloween monster, and they're not just costumes, either.

[Granted, Riku's main exposure was Oogie Boogie and his romp through the town in Castle Oblivion, where he mostly just encountered spooky Heartless.]
