So we had just about the perfect weekend - a ramble on Saturday got us outside and into the sunshine. It was in Sussex and we had lunch near a really neat looking castle with a historic steam railway nearby. The lunch stop was too short to actually go into said castle, but that's ok. As many of you have figured out by now, we had the ever fabulous wyvernmoon, rebelowl32 and maera_dannan in London last week. Minus some panicked phone calls from work on Monday, we had a really wonderful time - so much so that I find myself in a bit of a funk this week re-adjusting to life as usual. I tell you what, weekends don't get much better than the last one. Opera, ramble, party. . .good stuff indeed, though the highlight was, in fact, the opera. We saw Evgeny Onegin at the Royal Opera House - FANTASTIC! An absolutely delightful performance, though the set took the cake.
