Well, it's been quiet...so I thought I'd take advantage by making a little noise.

1942, America's only about a year into the war and while the boys are out fighting and risking their lives, there are those still stuck back home, trying to do what they can.

When the device turns on, it shares a nice little image of Jack in bed with Mercy curled up next to him, both asleep. After about a minute, Jack's eyes open and he sits up, unaware at first that he has company. [Jack is down in the med bay that his previous self had built for Owen, dusting things off and generally futzing with the things normally locked away. He moved from the med bay to the other Torchwood-related places that never saw human life these days. It was depressing to think, at one point, he'd been here with his team again, presumably happy. [When the device first clicks on, it's only audio as the screen shows only black. It's a little muffled, but, the sound of someone humming to himself, occasionally switching to words, can be heard well enough.
