I've got a question regarding freezing lasagna. Because I'm starting work on Monday, I want to have some meals frozen that I can just shove in the oven and cook for a while to keep things easy for myself. Can I make up the sauces, layer them with the no-boil pasta sheets, and freeze it like that, or do I have to bake the assembled product in the ( Read more... )

For brownies, I always like to add a good amount of semi-sweet chips and a double shot of Bailey's.

Pure. Heaven.

Good ideas, but I really can't use nut, and as a personal preference I don't eat mint flavoured foods. I hope that other people reading this post use them though :D

I have been using regular lasagna noodles for years before the "no boil" variety came out. They work just the same...they soak up all the juices and come out fine. However, I really do like those "no boil" ones that are completely flat. But I use all kinds.

I just said that because it's what we have in the cupboard :) Nice of you to point it out though!

for the brownies I suggest the heath bar (dime bar) crumbles or crushed peppermint candies. I think both have been suggested but they are both great (but not together). IF you try the cornflakes, I'd like to know if they stay crunchy as well.

The dime bar is a good idea I think I might try. I don't think I'll try the cornflakes though as I think that even used as a topping they might sink/get soggy. :)

Just last night I had brownies with crumbled oreos on top and it was REALLY REALLY GOOD! It would probably also be good with chocolate chip cookies... maybe like Chips Ahoy.

The oreos were put on before baking... I should have said that.
