Hey, Pornistas of Love and Beauty, I finally did it and published the recipe for my Aztec Gold Brownies.

I think I know what my next baking project will be. ^_^

Question on the espresso powder: I don't cook with that and don't drink coffee at home. Can I just buy that powder at the store? Would instant coffee have a similar effect? (I'm planning on doing a test run with cheaper ingredients before going full-bore)

Instant coffee is not as strong in flavor, so use half again as much for it.

Espresso powder is essentially instant esspresso--it isn't just ground up espresso beans. It has a very strong coffee flavor. And you can buy it at some stores. Of all places, I have found it at the World Market and Costco fairly frequently.
