[1] The next morning, when Woohyun opened his eyes slowly to see the world, all he could see was that the spot beside him was empty. He blinked rapidly to adjust to his surrounding, before sitting up and winced at the pain on his rear, accidentally letting the blanket slipped down, revealing his flat stomach. Woohyun looked down. He was naked. He frowned and tried to recalled what happened.
Sunggyu.
Woohyun blushed furiously at the name. God, he’s been screaming that name for countless times last night. He brought his hands to his cheeks, trying to prevent the embarassed feeling.
“Confused?”
Woohyun looked up to see a chuckling Sunggyu, already in his working suit. He looked even more handsome, and Woohyun didn’t mind to see him as a morning view everyday. Woohyun smiled shyly and pulled his blanket up to cover his body. Wait. He’s not even sure why he did that. Sunggyu had seen all of him anyway.
“Going...for work?”
Sunggyu checked himself in the mirror once again before facing Woohyun. “Yeah.”
“Have a nice day, then,” Woohyun smiled and Sunggyu noticed that he was still blushing.
Sunggyu put on his blazer and was heading to the door, when he suddenly turned around and gave a long, sweet kiss to Woohyun. The latter gasped softly but soon he closed his eyes, relaxed into the kiss. Sunggyu was holding the back of his neck firmly and when they separated, Woohyun stared into those small eyes deeply.
How did you make me feel so safe?
“I’ll be home soon,” Sunggyu whispered against his lips and pulled away. Woohyun could only stared at Sunggyu’s back, a hand was raised to his chest, feeling it thumping loudly like they’re about to blow any minute.
Woohyun had never felt so, so loved.
***
Sungjong comes a lot to the house.
Even though Sunggyu wasn’t home most of the times, but there was Sungyeol and they talked a lot. Woohyun didn’t know why Sungjong always stared at him weirdly, he even refused to looked at the older male most times sometimes. To be honest, Woohyun was sad that he felt kind of left out in the conversations between Sungjong and the others. Sungyeol seemed to notice this and fortunately, he was still nice to Woohyun, even though Sungjong fell into deep silence everytime Sungyeol talked to him.
Woohyun wondered why Sungjong hated him.
One day, Woohyun was scanning the big garden boringly with his chin rested on his fist in the balcony. Suddenly, a voice startled him.
“Hi.”
Woohyun turned to look at an attractive, handsome boy who was smiling at him. He smiled back. “Hi...”
“Bored? You can’t help it, since basically you’re doing nothing.”
“Y-yeah...”, he sighed approvingly. Then Woohyun introduced himself. “I’m-I’m Nam Woohyun.”
“Just call me Hoya,” the attractive male smiled. Woohyun swore everyone would melt at the smile.
“Hoya? Oh my God, you’re the cook? Ever since I’m here, the meal had been so wonderfully delicious! I’m thankful for that...”
Hoya laughed. “Yeah. No big deal. I heard you can cook?”
“Not as much as you,” Woohyun shook his head. “Just a typical college guy cooking.” It was true, though. Boohyun’s more talented in the cooking department.
“It’s a start. Although if you live here, you wouldn’t have to cook. But I’m sure Sunggyu-hyung will be more than happy to taste your cooking. He’s bored with mine, I guess,” Hoya joked and Woohyun chuckled. He was about to reply when suddenly he heard a cheerful voice calling Hoya. That familiar voice.
“Hoya-hyung!”
Hoya turned around and smiled at Sungjong. “Jongie! What brings you here?”
Sungjong stopped abruptly and bowed at Woohyun, who instinctively bowed back. He smiled awkwardly at Hoya. “Um...I just wanted to talk to you, Hyung.”
“Really? What about? Sunggyu’s not home yet...”
“I’m not looking for Sunggyu-hyung...”, the youngest male among them all replied, still stealing glances at Woohyun. He seemed terribly uncomfortable and Woohyun noticed this. His presence was unwanted.
But why?
Woohyun cleared his throat. “I’ll see you around, Hoya...”
Hoya looked confused and Woohyun quickly walked away, leaving the two of them, didn’t give a chance for Hoya to say something.
Sungjong didn’t want him there, and it was obvious.
***
Woohyun stared blankly at the thick book in front of him. He went looking for Sungyeol, but the latter was nowhere to be found, so did his bodyguard, L. Maybe they’re not home. Woohyun met Dongwoo halfway and he recently acknowledged that Dongwoo was carrying guns. Now that Woohyun think about it, he also acknowledged L was carrying something like blade or katana, too. And they seemed...deadly. It was understandable, though. They’re protecting the mafia’s family, most of all, they protect Sunggyu. So they have to be well trained.
There were lots of bodyguards but Dongwoo and L were the most loyal, according to Sungyeol’s story. They’ve been trained since they were kids to protect the heir of the Kim family. But they were also allowed to protect another person, just one to be exact, preferably their loved ones. And for L, it’s Sungyeol. He wondered how did the cheery Sungyeol got together with the icy cold L. There must be something interesting behind the story of their relationship.
Woohyun sighed softly and closed the unread book. He’s bored, he’s got nothing to do, and his mind drifted to his school, his friends, and his...his family. Woohyun shook his head at the last thought, trying hard not to think about it anymore. It was painful and he still found it hard to believe that his parents would do such thing to him... Woohyun tried to switch to another topic, and Sunggyu kept on appearing in his mind.
What is he doing? When will he be back?
Woohyun still hasn’t asked Sunggyu what he does for a living.
Killing people? Collecting money and fares from poor people? Intimidating the weak?
Judging from Sunggyu’s face, people wouldn’t even imagine if he’s a gangster. But Woohyun had to admit that the aura that surrounded Sunggyu was heavy. It made people to fear him, to respect him, even if Sunggyu’s not doing anything. And for someone who’s actually a gangster, a mafia’s son, Sunggyu was...educated. He was smart, he was talented, he was brave, and certainly was different.
And day by day...Woohyun’s heart couldn’t stop beating faster for the older male.
Ever since their first love making, Sunggyu hasn’t touched him anymore. They kissed, but it was not more than that. They would just lie on their backs and talked through the night, exchanging their family’s history. And day by day, Woohyun slowly began to understand Sunggyu. About his relationship with his father. About his mother who died giving birth to him and his father got remarried. About his rough life when he was a kid, having a mafia as a father. His cousins: Sungyeol and Hoya, and a few other names. Some of them were related by blood and some of them were adopted. And lastly, Sungjong.
Sungjong was special to Sunggyu. He considered him as a younger brother he’s never had. Sungjong’s father is a friend of Sunggyu’s father, a trustworthy friend, an acquintance. He proved to be a loyal person and he traveled around the world, accompanying Mr. Kim wherever he goes. That’s why Sunggyu let Sungjong comes around to the house as often as he wants to. Because Sunggyu had promised Sungjong’s father that he’d keep an eye on his son.
In the morning, Woohyun would always be greeted by the sight of perfect Sunggyu in his suit, ready to go to work. Apparently he owns a club and a few places such as restaurants and hotels. Everyday he goes there to check things out. Before leaving, Sunggyu would kiss him softly and told him he’d be back. And he’d fulfill it.
But that morning, Sunggyu was different.
Their kiss went a little too deep, and Sunggyu was going downwards, running his tongue on Woohyun’s exposed skin. The older male palmed his hand against the bulge in Woohyun’s pants and the latter let out a moan, a hot moan, that it made Sunggyu stopped and smiled-more like smirking at Woohyun. Woohyun blushed and bit his lip shyly.
Why do you make me feel so loved?
“Tonight,” Sunggyu said against Woohyun’s lips. Lately it’s becoming a habit of Sunggyu talking against those soft lips and whispering sweet things. “Be prepared.”
“F-for what?”
“I’m gonna make you cry my name endlessly,” Sunggyu got up from the bed and ruffled Woohyun’s hair.
Woohyun blushed even deeper and brought a hand to his mouth.
Just thinking about what Sunggyu had just said makes his heart beats faster.
***
Sungjong was jealous. He was jealous, yet he couldn’t stop thinking that Woohyun was breathtakingly beautiful and he couldn’t compete. Sunggyu had never brought anyone back home before. Even if he’s gonna have a one night stand or something, he’d preferably doing it at the club, or any other places, but never bring them home. Because to Sunggyu-and Sungjong, home is a sacred place.
That’s why, when Woohyun was brought to Sunggyu’s home, Sungjong felt he was defeated.
He’s known Sunggyu as long as he lives, he loves him more than a brother, but the latter doesn’t seem to realize it. Sunggyu would always consider Sungjong as a brother, as someone he’d protect, but not as someone he wishes to spend his life with. Just brotherly love, and it’s not gonna be more than that.
Why it can’t be me, Hyung? Why him? Why?
Sungjong tried to be nice with Woohyun, but everytime he sees the pretty male, he just couldn’t. What is it that Woohyun has that Sungjong doesn’t? What is it that Sungjong does all this time, trying desperately to catch Sunggyu’s attention, but Woohyun does nothing and he managed to have Sunggyu’s attention all to himself? What is it?
And Woohyun seemed to acknowledge the uncomfortable feeling that Sungjong felt. Whenever he was around and Sungjong came, he’d dismiss himself and went to his room-Sunggyu-hyung’s room. And that gaze. That deep, loving gaze. The moment Sunggyu laid his eyes on Woohyun, Sungjong realized it. That it was different. That Sunggyu was feeling something deeper for the male. And that...Sungjong would never win.
The youngest male among them all was standing in front of the tree, with a scarf wrapped around his neck. It’s not that cold, but Sungjong’s body was weak since he was born. The scarf was thick, and it was expensive, and it was from Sunggyu as a birthday gift. Sungjong treasured it like nothing else matters. Now he wondered if he should just discard it because it was starting to give him sad memories. Sungjong slowly took off the scarf from his neck and stared at it blankly.
Maybe I should just throw you away.
The wind blew harshly, and Sungjong let the scarf to fly away. Unfortunately it was stuck on the tree and Sungjong looked above him. Even the scarf refused to be thrown away. He was hesitant. It was a birthday gift afterall, and a precious item to him. If he’s not gonna use it anymore, why not just keep and locked it somewhere?
After battling with his inner self and decided that he didn’t want Sunggyu to be erased from his life, Sungjong sighed and as he was about to reach the scarf, which was pretty far from his hand, a voice was heard.
“Sungjongie!”
The said male stunned because the voice who just called his name was no other than the person he didn’t want to see right now.
Woohyun walked to him hastily, eyes filled with worry. “What happened? Can you reach it? The scarf?”
Sungjong glanced inattentively at him and looked away. “...let it be. It’s just a stupid scarf.”
“But you’re gonna get cold! Here, use mine for a while...”, Woohyun took off his jacket and put it on around Sungjong’s shoulder. “There... Sunggyu told me you can’t stand cold. He’s gonna be so worried if you’re sick...”
Sungjong kept quiet, eyes fixed to the ground. So he told you about me?
Woohyun followed his gaze. “Well...uh...let me grab the scarf for you.” Without waiting for any reply, Woohyun easily climbed the tree. He usually climbed the tree with Boohyun when he was a kid, and Woohyun still remembered the pain when the branch was snapped and he fell onto the ground. Woohyun made sure the branch was strong enough before climbing on it.
Sungjong only stared.
Climb it. It would be good if you fall. Then Hyung’s attention gonna be back at me. Maybe that’s a good idea. I hope you fall.
He gasped softly and covered his mouth with his hand.
What the hell were you thinking, Sungjong? He’s Sunggyu-hyung’s precious one. If something were to happen to him, Hyung would be so sad-
“Wait,” Sungjong voiced out. “I don’t want it anymore. Just go back here.”
“Ah,” Woohyun smiled happily from above. “You finally talk to me, Sungjongie. It’s okay, I’ll grab it for you.”
“I said I don’t want it anymore,” Sungjong’s voice was trembling. “You’ll get hurt. Come on down.”
“It’s o-aw!!”, Woohyun winced in pain as his finger was cut by the sharp part of the branch. It was slightly bleeding, and he brought his finger to his mouth, sucking it. “I’m fine! Just a little more and I’ll be able to grab it.”
What’s up with this man and his stubbornness?
“Hyung-“
“WOOHYUN!!”
Both of them startled at the voice and Sungjong turned his head at the direction, his eyes widened in disbelief.
Sunggyu was walking towards them and Sungjong could see that he was worried. A rare expression that Sunggyu had never showed before, even to Sungjong.
“GET OFF THE TREE RIGHT NOW!”
“Eh?”, Woohyun blinked and suddenly he feared Sunggyu’s tone. “I-I was only going to-Sungjong’s scarf here-I-“
Sunggyu had already reached the tree and he stretched up both of his arms to Woohyun. “I said get off. Did you get cut?”
“J-just a bit, it’s only a small wound-“
“Goddamit Woohyun, jump to me already.”
Woohyun was reluctant, just a few climb more and he’s gonna get the scarf, but he obeyed anyway. Woohyun took Sunggyu’s hands and jumped down to the ground safely. Sunggyu immediately pulled him into an embrace and sighed in relief.
“I can always buy a new scarf for Sungjong. But your safety... I can’t buy it anywhere...”
Woohyun was too drowned in happiness that he realized a few minutes later that Sungjong’s already gone.
His jacket was merely left on the ground.
***
“Do you see Sungjong?”
Woohyun asked to one of the bodyguards and he shook his head. They all shook his head. He’s been asking to several people and the answer’s been the same. He sighed and looked down at the colorful scarf. Woohyun immediately pulled away from Sunggyu’s embrace after he realized Sungjong was missing. He then asked Sunggyu to grab the scarf-who called L, who easily climbed the tree without any difficulties-and have been trying to look for the youngest male. Woohyun sat on the stairs gloomily.
He thinks he knows why Sungjong hates him.
“Woohyun? What are you doing?”
Woohyun looked up and found that Sungyeol was frowning at him.
“Sungyeol! I’m looking for Sungjong...”
“Jongie? What for?”
“I...”, Woohyun stood up and Sungyeol noticed the scarf on his hands.
“Isn’t that Jongie’s?”
“Yeah...I wanted to give this back to him.”
“Did he throw it away?”
“No...”, Woohyun bit his inner lip. “Do you have any idea where I can find him?”
Sungyeol glanced at his watch. “Jongie’s usually at the club right now...if he’s bored. Or else, he’d be at home. Why don’t you wait until tomorrow? I’m sure he’ll come like usual. Is it that important?” He slung an arm casually around Woohyun’s shoulder. “Besides, your boyfriend’s arrived home early tonight. Why don’t we have dinner together?”
But Sungjong didn’t come the day after. And the day after that. Even the next day after.
And Woohyun even felt more guilty.
After a few days of not appearing, Woohyun finally decided to go to the club that Sunggyu owns. He’s just gotta see Sungjong and apologize-wait, for what? What did he do wrong? For having Sunggyu held him in front of him? Woohyun’s not sure...but he just felt like he had to see him. Sunggyu’s not home yet, and judging from the way L stood in front of the room, Sungyeol was currently taking a shower.
“L,” Woohyun called. “I need to go to the club. Can you give me direction to go there?”
L only stared at him coldly and Woohyun shifted uncomfortably under the gaze. “...there are drivers.”
“If I go with them, they wouldn’t take me,” Woohyun said. “I’m not allowed to go anywhere by myself, remember?”
“The club?”, Hoya suddenly appeared with Dongwoo behind him. “Why do you need to go there? It’s dangerous for someone like you.”
“I just...need...to find Sungjong,” Woohyun finished his sentence hesitantly. He didn’t understand what Hoya meant by ‘someone like you’, and he’s not planning on asking either.
“Hm? Now that you mention it, Sungjong hasn’t showed up in a few days,” Hoya frowned. He turned to Dongwoo. “Shall we come along?”
***
Hoya was right. The place was dangerous. At least, for someone like Woohyun. He’s never gone to a club before, let alone a gay club. A gay club. Sunggyu owns a high class gay club. You have to be a member to enter, and it’s not easy to be one. Woohyun gulped nervously. He was grateful that Hoya had the initiative for accompanying him. Or else...
When they were about to go, Sungyeol had finished taking a shower and he insisted on coming along. Woohyun couldn’t forget the expression L showed, since he’s not good with words, but it was obvious that L actually didn’t want the taller male to go. But then again, that’s what bodyguards-and lovers-are for, right? To protect them from harm.
“Jongie’s usually in the bar,” Sungyeol half shouted at him. “Just make it brief, okay? The longer you stay there, the easier you’re gonna be a target-“
Sungyeol wasn’t able to finish his sentence, because someone was bumping into them and got them separated. Sungyeol was safely pulled by L, and the latter held him tight. Funny, Woohyun swore he could see the panic expression on L’s face...but maybe it was just his imagination. Woohyun decided to find Sungjong quick. He turned around and started heading to the bar.
He could feel eyes turn to him and naughty whistles as he walked by, but Woohyun chose not to pay attention. He threw a quick glance across the room, searching for Sungjong-and there he was, being pretty and in shocking color shirt, looking outstanding as always. Woohyun walked closer to him and was about to call his name, when suddenly Sungjong let himself be kissed by a male.
Woohyun stopped abruptly.
The male was handsome, he’s slender and taller, and he kissed Sungjong softly. Just like in a way Sunggyu would kiss Woohyun.
What the hell was I thinking?
Woohyun cursed himself.
Sungjong’s not coming anymore could be because of this: He’s dating another guy!
You were worried for nothing, idiot!
Then stop feeling so guilty!
Woohyun looked down to the scarf. Maybe that was the reason Sungjong tried to discard it. And stupid Woohyun for thinking that he still wanted the scarf... He looked up once again, still witnessing Sungjong’s in a liplock session with the handsome male. He shouldn’t disturb them. Woohyun shook his head, turned around and was faced with several males. He held his breath. They didn’t seem to be giving way for Woohyun to walk away.
“Hey, pretty one,” one of them flashed him a sickeningly sweet smile. “We notice that you’re all alone. Wanna join?”
Woohyun shuddered and took a step back. “I-I’m with friends. They-they’re over there-“
“Oh, we don’t need reasons. You know, when I want someone, I always got them. So no exception for you either.”
“Please don’t,” was all he could say, and fear was rising inside of him. His eyes wandered frantically for Sungyeol or Hoya, but it was too crowded.
The talking male pushed him suddenly and Woohyun screamed. But it was no use, the sound of the music was deafening the ears and no one seemed to care about his condition. He grabbed the scarf tightly to his chest, as if to build defense. Woohyun was pushed further behind until his back was pressed against the bar. Now he’s got nowhere to run.
Woohyun’s arms were held tightly and his chin was lifted up forcefully. He could feel the male was going to crash their lips together and Woohyun shook his head roughly in attempt to break free. A slap landed on his face and he let out another scream.
“Oi, let’s go to the bathroom, let’s share him!”, one of his friends protested.
The male smirked. “You’re right. Let’s.”
“Hey.”
All of them turned around to face Sungjong who stood challengingly in front of them.
“Hey, another pretty one. What a lucky night! But sorry, we got our eyes on this cutie first, so...maybe next time? Besides, I see you’re making out with Jaehyo over there,” he said, pointing at the handsome male before. So his name’s Jaehyo.
Sungjong shook his head. “Let him go.”
Woohyun was trembling. Sungjong, don’t.
“You’re messing with the wrong person.”
The group of males laughed. “Who? This?”, they pointed at Woohyun mockingly.
Sungjong gave them a pity look. “You,” he gestured the male who was pushing Woohyun. “Are going to regret everything.”
They were still laughing and in a blink of an eye, the male fell abruptly to the floor, and he froze hearing the clicking sound of a gun near his ear.
Dongwoo stood beside him silently, with lazy stare to the kneeling male. His hand was stretched forward with a cocking gun. It’s as if he was saying, just say the magic word and he’s dead.
“Because you’re not allowed to lay a hand on Kim Sunggyu’s property.”
“Except, the fact that he’s not.”
It was Sungjong who spoke the first sentence and then Sunggyu completed it. All of them froze, and the crowds seemed to have stopped dancing either because of the scene. Some girls were shouting and got away as far as possible at the sight of the gun, and L’s katana was already out of its place. L smirked at Dongwoo, he didn’t even need his help. Dongwoo still lazily pointed his gun at the male. His friends couldn’t even do anything, Dongwoo was scary as hell. And now Kim Sunggyu has arrived.
“He’s not my property. He’s my boyfriend.”
Sunggyu looked annoyed and knelt down beside the quivering male. To have Dongwoo cocking his gun on his forehead and now to have Kim Sunggyu talked to him. It’s such a nightmare.
“You know, when he said stop...you should listen to him.”
“I’m sorry!”
“And when Sungjong told you to let him go...you should’ve listened.”
“ I didn’t know he’s yours! If I knew it, I wouldn’t mess with him!”
Sunggyu clicked his tongue and shook his head remorsely.
“Too late.”
Sunggyu stood up and gestured with his head.
“Take care of them, L. Dongwoo.”
The boys didn’t need to be told twice. They went outside to take care of the problem.
Sunggyu grabbed Woohyun who was still trembling and put his coat on him.
“G-Gyu...”, Woohyun whispered fearfully.
Sunggyu inhaled deeply. Thankfully he’s arrived at the right time, or else Woohyun would’ve been touched more inappropriately by those thugs. “Let’s go home.”
Woohyun could only nod but it seemed like he didn’t have the strength to move at all. So Sunggyu carried him bridal style and Woohyun weakly wrapped his arms around Sunggyu’s shoulders, still trembling.
Sungjong looked away painfully at the sight. He didn’t say a single thing, and he thought Sunggyu would just ignore him. But he didn’t. Sunggyu stopped in front of Sungjong, even though he didn’t glance at the younger male.
“Sungjong,” Sunggyu said softly. “I’ll be waiting for you tomorrow at home.” Sungjong’s shoulder flinched hearing those words. You still expect me to come? “And Jaehyo’s a nice guy.” With that, he continued to walk and exited the club. Sungyeol and Hoya followed him closely after throwing a comforting smile at Sungjong.
Sungjong wanted to cry. He felt guilty all of a sudden. His eyes then lingered to the bar stool near the place Woohyun was before, and Sungjong caught the sight of his scarf. He grabbed the scarf quickly. So he came here all the way just to give me this?
He felt a pat on his head and Sungjong looked up. Jaehyo was smiling at him soothingly. For a start, Sungjong felt glad that it was Jaehyo and no one else. “Are you okay?”
Sungjong slowly nodded.
“Hey, isn’t this your favourite scarf?”
“It was...”
But not anymore.
Maybe it’s time for me to let go.
***
“Ahh! Gyu!”
Woohyun cried loudly as Sunggyu ran his tongue on his nipple. It was a light touch, light kisses, but Woohyun was sensitive tonight. Much too sensitive.
“Gyu!”
Sunggyu sucked on Woohyun’s skin, biting him, gently nipping him, leaving red marks all over his body.
He wasn’t planning to touch Woohyun tonight-but the latter kept on crying in the car, and he just wanted to kiss away the pain. Sunggyu dislikes Woohyun’s tears. And he was angry in a way. He’s angry at Woohyun, and also at Sungyeol and Hoya who agreed to come to the club. Of course both of the latter would be fine since L and Dongwoo would always be by their side, protecting them. But Woohyun? That’s why he didn’t let the male go out all by himself. Because he’d easily be the object of harassment. Because he’s just too damn pretty.
Comforting kisses turned into hot ones.
If Sunggyu’s hands were holding Woohyun tight before, they were starting to wander wildly.
Woohyun’s tears were soon replaced by moans.
And Sunggyu loved the way Woohyun moaned. There’s just something sexy about the way the pretty male cried out his name, especially in bed. Woohyun was obviously new to these things, Sunggyu was his first afterall, and he cherished this even more.
Nam Woohyun.
Woohyun searched for Sunggyu’s hand and entwined them tightly.
I’ll protect you.
Woohyun screamed Sunggyu’s name as he climaxed, in a long, hot, sexy voice and Sunggyu came following after. They were breathless, and Woohyun fell on his back, with Sunggyu holding the back of his head-he didn’t know why he did that, he just did, although there was pillow to prevent Woohyun’s head to thud. Woohyun fluttered his eyes in pleasure rapidly, and blushed as he realized Sunggyu was scanning him, all over his body, from his face down to his member, and Sunggyu was still inside of him.
Sunggyu caressed Woohyun’s smooth, white, flawless skin and leaned forward to kiss him.
Woohyun shyly kissed back, fully aware of what he’s doing. He blushed again in embarassment over his loud moans before. But Woohyun couldn’t help it. He couldn’t think clearly and just let all of his emotions out whenever Sunggyu was touching him, was thrusting into him, was kissing him. It was driving him crazy.
“I love you,” Sunggyu whispered softly against his lips. And it felt so right. He rolled over to his side, letting Woohyun snuggled closer to his chest.
Woohyun didn’t answer, but he didn’t let go of Sunggyu’s hand, and Sunggyu understood what it meant.
Because Woohyun’s heart was filled with love, so much that he’s afraid it’s going to burst out any minute.
***
Woohyun was talking with Sungyeol by the pool, enjoying their breakfast.
“So Sunggyu almost killed me because I let you out,” Sungyeol pouted. “But thankfully things turned out okay. You guys were so loud last night. Oh, let me correct that. You were so loud.”
Woohyun’s eyes bulged like they’re gonna pop out and he blushed. “I-I-I’m-it-it was-you heard it?”
Sungyeol grinned impishly. “Oh come on. Don’t be shy. I bet Sunggyu’s wild in bed. Judging from your moans.”
Woohyun choked and he couldn’t utter anything except for drowning his head in his hands. Sungyeol snickered and quickly stopped as Sunggyu walked closer to them. Sunggyu stared at Woohyun before throwing Sungyeol an annoyed look.
“What?”, Sungyeol asked innocently.
“Don’t tease him, Sungyeol.”
“Ah, you’re no fun,” Sungyeol pouted.
Woohyun slowly revealed his face and dropped his hands on the table. He held his breath, his boyfriend looks breathtaking as always... Woohyun’s lips tugged into a smile. “Have a nice day at work.”
Sunggyu smiled back and caressed his cheek. “You can go out if you want to. I’ll have one of the bodyguards to accompany you.”
Woohyun looked thoughtful for a moment. “I think I just want to go to the university...but it can wait. It’s been a while since I attend class...I wonder if they dropped me out already.”
“I’ll check it out for you later. In the mean time, Cap will protect you when I’m not around.”
A handsome male with curly hair bowed deeply at Woohyun, and the latter acknowledged him as one of the people who was close with Dongwoo. For a moment, Woohyun wondered if all of the bodyguards have a handsome face and cold looks.
Sunggyu kissed Woohyun’s lips softly. “I’ll see you later.”
Woohyun shyly smiled and glanced at Sungyeol who didn’t look mind at all. He’s not really used to public display of affection, but maybe he’s willing to try. Just as Sunggyu was about to walk away, his smile disappeared as he took notice of Sungjong’s presence. The youngest male was standing in front of them, and Woohyun realized the scarf was with him.
“Hyung,” he softly called.
Woohyun thought he must be calling for either Sunggyu or Sungyeol, so he just looked down to his cup of tea. Sungjong’s probably didn’t want him around, like usual. Should he just head back to his room and leave them?
“Woohyun-hyung.”
Woohyun looked up surprisingly and looked at Sungjong. The latter smiled at him, and it was a sincere smile.
“Thank you for the scarf, Hyung.”
Sungjong turned to Sunggyu.
“And I’m sorry for everything.”
Sunggyu gave him a smile and ruffled his hair affectionately.
Sungyeol laughed in relief and dragged Sungjong to the table to join them. The latter smiled at Woohyun a lot, even though it was awkward at first, but thanks to Sungyeol, they were beginning to talk to each other. The discomfort feeling was gone, and Sungjong didn’t give him those ‘please go away’ stares anymore.
Woohyun felt like he’s found his second home. It’s here, with Sunggyu, and the others.
They may not be related by blood, but they’re...family.
And he was happy.
