I thought it was brilliant until that scene where they started making out. Then I was in half disbelief and half pissed off. It was just so WRONG. I don't even know what but it was just so NOT Amy at all. And I agree, the one thing that really pissed me off about it was that it totally blatantly ruined their subtle relationship. UGH.

I hope Amy doesn't become another Donna. WHY ARE ALL THE REDHEADS THE MOST IMPORTANT PEOPLE IN THE UNIVERSE? ( knew it was going to happen eventually though. What I'm wondering is if Amy is the Pandorica or she opens it.

But the rest of the episode was GREAT. I loved that scene between teh Doctor and Amy when he told her that he was going to be right back. THAT'S the sort of stuff I look for in their relationship. Not a random make out scene.

I don't believe Amy will end up like Donna because Karen is scheduled for series six filming, so she'll at least be a two series companion. Thank the gods!

Hi, why are we the same person, omg? By which I mean, I totally agree with everything you've written.

I think what's been bugging me in that scene is that the throwaway line she had about it not being long-term, plus her just jumping him right after the whole catastrophic life event thing plus her constant reminders of her upcoming wedding just made it feel like she wasn't into him, but just not into the idea of getting married. IDK. It made me uncomfortable for reasons that I can't figure out, which is baffling me ( ... )

Though I could probably summarize my feelings towards this entire development as being RIGHTFULLY afraid Rory will end up getting the Mickey Smith treatment and I loved Mickey and I already have this weird attachment to Rory (and his ugly-as-sin rattail hair piece in episode seven) and I just don't want to see him Mickey'd.
THIS. SO MUCH OF THIS.

Next week, we'll be on episode six and I still don't know how to gather my thoughts over this series' arc. Is that a problem?
I've been very confused about this season as well. I mean, it's probably going somewhere? But I feel as if they're not giving us enough clues along the way to figure out what's going and are going to dump it all in the last episode.

I don't even know what to say. Everything you put is something I was/am thinking.

AND YES. I WAS BEGINNING TO THINK I WAS WEIRD FOR LIKING RORY SO. I'm so excited for him to return. (AND THAT SHIRT HE WAS WEARING..!!)

I do like how River has solidified herself as a character in the Doctor's eyes. She doesn't just merely exist anymore, but rather them meeting again has started to form their... unique relationship. But Moff needs to stop with the "SPOILERS!!" BS every time we get close to an answer. If he's going to keep dragging out their whole story for season after season I'm going to be pissed. And.. it looks that way. ARG.

I STARTED ADORING RORY FOR NO REASON AT ALL OVER THE SUMMER. I can't remember why it started but I properly adore Rory, and I rather not see him get hurt throughout series five. BUT YEAH, RORY LOVES UNITE!

I hope we get some more answers about River Song too. I believe she will be in the last couple episodes of this series.

...AGAINST THE TARDIS. YESSS. GET IT.
