I just got back from a holiday at home in MA. Every time I go back there I make it a point to see my little cousins. It breaks my heart every time I see them, because they grow up so much in the six (or more) months between visits! Damn, a lot has happened in the last four months.  Let me try to give you some of the highlights:

- I went home for two weeks in July and it was AMAZING.  I miss you guys from home SO MUCH!!
- The Red Sox truly rock my world.

I'm actually pretty satisfied with how today went, despite my late start...  I performed a heat shock and extracted RNA from a bunch of mosquito larvae...  tomorrow I will run another experiment to determine whether my primers work (wish me luck!).  Hopefully in the next couple of weeks I can actually quantify a certain product that I'm looking for ( Read more... )

I hate the end of semesters.  There's always waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much to do that's packed into a couple of weeks.  Man oh man!
