Doubt it's made world news, but the Queensland floods have been pretty horrific. I've never really been a part of a natural disaster before, and it's kind of terrifying, even if I'm on the fringes. Mine's currently coming to a close, and it's the first Christmas I can remember where we haven't had epic family drama, so I count it as a win.
