- In other news, I went back to uni this week. It's been pretty good so far, I mean, I'm only taking three classes, so the workload will hopefully not kill me. I'm doing Feature Writing, American Literature and Rock Music in Film. Which is pretty awesome. I'm starting my work experience next week too which is v v exciting. Also, we had a new routine in my balance class (which is a mix of yoga, tai chi and pilates) and it resulted in SO MUCH PAIN. Omg, every part of me is aching right now. I've done that class at least once a week for the past five months and I think I worked out muscles I didn't know I had today.
- I've also really enjoyed the last two episodes of Skins. I love that the series is really revisiting the friendship between Freddie, Cook and JJ because it was fractured so badly last season that it's nice to see them piecing their relationships with each other back together. Although, I gotta say, my favourite part of Freddie's episode was the carnival purely for the fact that it fed my insane urge for Cook/Katie to happen. I mean, seriously:
This sort of juxtapositioning is not accidental. And for good reason! Damn, that sex scene would've been hot. Missed opportunities, Skins writers, missed opportunities.
Because, come on! She'd be such a bitch the whole time, and he really wouldn't treat her very well either. They'd be substitutes for each other, a body to fill that void, the emptyness and loneliness that they both so desperately loathe and they'd have mind-blowing sex and mind-numbing conversations until it wasn't and they weren't and fucking on every available surface slips into something slower and less desperate and Cook stops being a dick all the time and kind of becomes something close to earnest. She'll still bitch about how he never takes her out and that the tattoo on his cock is totally not hot, but it won't stop her from tracing the one on his arm with something close to affection.
