Financial reasons. Even though I'm not really paying any sort of rent, I still have car payments and insurance bills and gas money and a billion other things like that... I'm still hoping to hear back from BlueRock (though my jinx on computers lately puts me in a pessimistic mood about landing a tech job), but basically I don't want to quit until I have something else lined up...

Car washes never assume responsibility for damages caused by their equipment. My grandmother's licence plate got torn off and the gas station didn't do shit all about it. plus the other week a car wash shredded my spare tire cover and the manager did nothing about it either. Apparantly driving into one of those things is the same as signing a release form or somthign to that effect.

But i know how it feels like to drive with a broken mirror. My driver side mirror had a brush up with a telephone this winter and i still haven't fixed it so it's just sitting there flapping aorund. once it gets consistantly warmer through the night i'll use some silicone and fix it.

I usually don't unless i have no time to wash the car by hand. Speaking of whihc, my car needs a serious overhaul because it's still full of dirt and stuff from when i was still installing floors.
