What I did and said
Future roommate and I just signed a lease on an apartment. Hooray! And it starts a week before my current one ends, so I'll even have time to move my stuff over at a tolerably leisurely pace! I always appreciate it when things come together nicely like this. -

I'm never going back again
A'ight kids, it comes down to this. I'm in rather desperate need of a vacation, by which I mostly mean a trip somewhere. Most likely options are my aunt and uncle's farm in northern Wisconsin or visiting a cousin and friends in Missouri*, but I'm not ruling any possibilities out.
