So I got my new power supply today. It's a different model from my old one. Upgrade, right? I mean, the old one was two and a half years old or so. Fine by me. Overheard at work: "You're a Celeron in a world of Pentiums!"

MSU surprised me today by replacing my old office computer with a spare newer one. It makes me happy--this one is better and faster and has crazy things like Windows XP Pro installed on it. Some of the specs on this baby?

Intel Celeron processer (1.10 GHz) and 384 MB RAM.

In the category of "Customers Suck!", on Monday, one of the computers at Martinizing broke. Considering the fact that I'm apparently the resident computer expert (sad, I know)... well, we're apparently waiting for Dell to ship out a new hard drive for that computer. A few weeks ago, I was talking to some people (I think the MSU group) about the Acapella Nintendo thing--yeah, it's been eons since moonlight_soldr first posted it, but for anyone who hasn't seen it yet for whatever reason, well, you have no excuse anymore. Unless your internet is broken or something. Bah. Like that'd ever happen.

Yeah... my video card is definitely dying. Again. It's the second time that this has happened--and I've only had the computer since December. If it's not still under warranty (it should be; it was "fixed" back in April), I'll probably just get a new one. Fortunately, one of my coworkers thinks she might have a spare card that I can borrow. Ugh. I suspect the fan on my video card is dying again. I just haven't worked up the nerve to actually open up my case and look yet...

In other news, this is going to be one of those weeks where there are so many good things happening that all I can think about is the potential for so much to go wrong...
