"JT didn't take the place of firemen"

Sep 11, 2004 00:28

So...I've been told by some people *cough*addie*cough* that I need to start posting more. And I wholeheartedly agree. It's just that...things are crazy around here and aside from the fact that I seem to be constantly busy, I also don't have computer access at home at the moment. So yeah, this is my lame ass attempt at apologizing for neglecting ( Read more... )

I miss you girl!! Whenever I get the chance I try to read your LJ...you're definitely one of the few people that I really want to keep track of. But it just sucks because I always want to comment but my internet access these days is shitty. It's hard to comment at work when they're always watching! Er, and there's that pesky thing about actually having work to do. *grumble*

Yay, you're back! I was beginning to think that you'd disappeared.

If you don't think that you're going to use the dress, there is a charity that collects dresses so that financially strapped high school girls can have nice prom dresses.

I DID disappear for a while. It's called the Land of No Internet Access. And trust me, it sucks there.

That's a good idea with the dress charity thing. I actually have two dresses to get rid of. I wonder if I could sell one and donate the other...hmmmm...that makes me kind of selfish but also kind of nice too. Heh. I can settle for that!

Muffin, don't ever apologize for watching Angel. Have you acquired the Season 4 DVDs? They're SO GOOD. I had yet to determine which season of Angel was my favorite, and I'm starting to lean towards Season 4. Not that Season 2 doesn't hold a place in my heart, but this one has better Lilah. Mmmm... Lilah.

Speaking of which, I need to go watch one of those hot scenes between Lilah and Wesley. Mmmm... Lilah.

Duuuuude! So...I watched season 2 way back when you gave it to me, then I ordered bootleg copies of seasons 1 & 3 on Ebay (didn't know they were bootleg when I ordered them, but whatever), and proceeded to watch season 3 and THEN finally season 1. But as soon as I finished season 1 I was all confused from watching them all out of order, so I rewatched season 2 again to refresh my memory. Season 2 finale was watched on Sunday, so I think I watched the whole thing in less than a week. Go me! Now I shall rewatch season 3 in preparation for getting the season 4 DVDs, which I shall purchase as soon as I save up some moola, possibly begging Santa for them. Er...or something ( ... )

I really wish it hadn't been cancelled so prematurely so we could have figured out what they had really been going for with the whole Angel in charge of W&H thing. Because I feel like season 5 was kind of a big let down, but if it had gone on for another season I think they could have made it all work and we would have been able to see the grand scheme of things and just why in the hell they decided to have W&H put Angel in charge. Because as it stands, I'm still pretty damn confused about that whole thing.

I knoooooooooooooooow!!! How fabulous would that be?! You could show me around and teach me about where the cool places are and I could learn how to be a surfer. Or something like that.

This really has to happen. No really. Forreals.

You think I'm lying?

No, really. You're coming out here. In fact, you're looking at the online application for UCSD right now. How 'bout that.

Oh hi again! I didn't realize you had posted a real post. Hee!

I will soon have a bridesmaid's dress to get rid of, too. Your friend jewelianna's idea is nicer than my suggestion...I am going to try and sell mine on eBay. I also have two prom dresses and my gala dress to get rid of.

Heheh...have you seen this commercial that asks "is cable better than puppies?" It was just on. Everytime I see it, I think of you :) It cracks me up!! "That makes cable better than puppies....better."

Sell it on Ebay!! That's such a good idea. I wonder if I could actually get something for it. Hmmm...Not that I would expect to make a profit on it or anything, but getting SOME money back would be cool. And I never even thought of getting rid of my gala dress. Maybe somewhere in the back of my mind I was thinking I might wear it again, since I really like the look of it. Heheh, but yeah right! As if I'd ever wear it again.

My mom suggested selling it to a consignment shop. eh, I'll look into it.

Also, I've never seen that commercial. Hehehe. Sounds funny, but I kind of have no idea what it means out of context. But yeah. Puppies are WAY better than cable!

Anyway, how are YOU doing? Anything exciting lately? My cats have fleas. That's about all that's going on with me now right now. Trying to get rid of the fleas!! Blah.

Kitties!! I saw a cat on campus today. It was running, and it looked like a tiger. :)

Not much is new with me...I mean, I guess a lot is new. But I think I've written it in my livejournal. But maybe not. Sorry. I'm getting over a cold, and my head is still not working right :( I started my counseling classes, and I'm moving on Sunday...still don't have a real job yet though. SIGH. Hopefully soon!! I'm making okay money at New York & Company, but not enough to live off of, really. If I don't get a substitute job, I might apply for a job at the day care center at Stony Brook. It'll be better than nothing, I think...

I hear you on the not making enough money thing. I mean, I have a "real" job, I mean, one that supposedly should pay enough or whatnot. I mean, it's in my field and it sounds like it should pay enough. But when I work out my bills...rent, car, my insanely high car insaurance, and all my credit cards, I have like $23 per week for everthing that's not bills and fixed expenses. Gah!!! I recently figured this out and realized that I'm living WAY beyond my budget. Hehehe. As in, I spend money every week and it's usually more than $23. I think this weekend I probably went over my "extras" budget for the whole month! And all I did was go out for my sister's birthday and buy some cat stuff at the pet store. It all gets spent so damn fast!! So yeah, I hear you.

But yeah...you're moving? Where to? Cute little apartment? :)
