"JT didn't take the place of firemen"

So...I've been told by some people *cough*addie*cough* that I need to start posting more. And I wholeheartedly agree. It's just that...things are crazy around here and aside from the fact that I seem to be constantly busy, I also don't have computer access at home at the moment. So yeah, this is my lame ass attempt at apologizing for neglecting ( Read more... )

Oh hi again! I didn't realize you had posted a real post. Hee!

I will soon have a bridesmaid's dress to get rid of, too. Your friend jewelianna's idea is nicer than my suggestion...I am going to try and sell mine on eBay. I also have two prom dresses and my gala dress to get rid of.

Heheh...have you seen this commercial that asks "is cable better than puppies?" It was just on. Everytime I see it, I think of you :) It cracks me up!! "That makes cable better than puppies....better."

Sell it on Ebay!! That's such a good idea. I wonder if I could actually get something for it. Hmmm...Not that I would expect to make a profit on it or anything, but getting SOME money back would be cool. And I never even thought of getting rid of my gala dress. Maybe somewhere in the back of my mind I was thinking I might wear it again, since I really like the look of it. Heheh, but yeah right! As if I'd ever wear it again.

My mom suggested selling it to a consignment shop. eh, I'll look into it.

Also, I've never seen that commercial. Hehehe. Sounds funny, but I kind of have no idea what it means out of context. But yeah. Puppies are WAY better than cable!

Anyway, how are YOU doing? Anything exciting lately? My cats have fleas. That's about all that's going on with me now right now. Trying to get rid of the fleas!! Blah.

Kitties!! I saw a cat on campus today. It was running, and it looked like a tiger. :)

Not much is new with me...I mean, I guess a lot is new. But I think I've written it in my livejournal. But maybe not. Sorry. I'm getting over a cold, and my head is still not working right :( I started my counseling classes, and I'm moving on Sunday...still don't have a real job yet though. SIGH. Hopefully soon!! I'm making okay money at New York & Company, but not enough to live off of, really. If I don't get a substitute job, I might apply for a job at the day care center at Stony Brook. It'll be better than nothing, I think...

I hear you on the not making enough money thing. I mean, I have a "real" job, I mean, one that supposedly should pay enough or whatnot. I mean, it's in my field and it sounds like it should pay enough. But when I work out my bills...rent, car, my insanely high car insaurance, and all my credit cards, I have like $23 per week for everthing that's not bills and fixed expenses. Gah!!! I recently figured this out and realized that I'm living WAY beyond my budget. Hehehe. As in, I spend money every week and it's usually more than $23. I think this weekend I probably went over my "extras" budget for the whole month! And all I did was go out for my sister's birthday and buy some cat stuff at the pet store. It all gets spent so damn fast!! So yeah, I hear you.

But yeah...you're moving? Where to? Cute little apartment? :)

No, no more cute apartment for me. I'm moving back in with mommy. Not the most fun thing, but a way to save mucha moolah. I had been debating whether or not to move, but I think this will be for the best! Are you still in the apartment you were in when I visited? That was a cute apartment...I loved your kitchen table. :)

I actually moved to another place. I moved in with Heather's younger sister Adina. I was friends with her in high school and she's really cool. Our apartment is actually way bigger, and her mom's the landlord! It's nice. My room is HUGE!!! The kitchen table isn't the cool fold out kind, but we have a back porch balconey and a big kitchen and HUGE living room and it's nice. Now...if I could only finish unpacking. I moved in in JULY!! Still have a couple boxes lying around ( ... )

Also...I wonder how much it would cost to ship a big dress like that? How exactly DO you ship something like that? Fold it up? Lay it out in a big box? Hmmm...maybe I'll see if anyone else is selling dresses and see what they say. If anything.

HAHA! I was wondering the same thing! I think they do use big boxes. Maybe they make boxes called "dress boxes"? Not sure...I know they make special boxes to store wedding gowns in. Maybe it's something like that.

Probably. I bet people who sell dresses on Ebay have to charge tons for shipping though! But hey, if people are willing to pay...why not!
