hungry?
I have been cooking and baking lately with some success. Last week I did make a YUMMY noodle kugel, and yesterday I baked four dozen sweat potato (free-form) muffins to take to the Dacie Moses birthday brunch today. I slept through broomball, which means that I didn't get exercise but I also didn't witness a member of the team losing his front two teeth. Last night I went over to the boy's to watch hockey and then stayed there because it was cold outside and I was warm inside and snuggles can be nice. Baby, it's cold outside!
-26 F this morning on my thermometer. The waterfall is steaming like a hot spring. It's a FANTASTIC Minnesota day with sunshine, snow, and cold like you don't believe if you haven't felt it. -
I am cranky
I could go on a long rant about why I hate the world and people in it, even people I like, right now, but I would have to put in too many qualifications about how it's actually all my fault and I have nobody to blame but myself. I don't feel like qualifying my cranky. I am in a self-pitying mood right now and I'm going to revel in it.

I skipped tap class for a mini nap. Totally worth it because I ended up making sourdough whole-wheat bread. YUM! Now, off to rehearsal before I eat the whole loaf. -
blargh, don't wanna get up!
I slept too late and had these consuming dreams and then when I did wake up the cat crawled under the covers with me and so of course I couldn't get up until the phone rang. I missed yoga class, but frankly, I don't mind. The thermometer says -20 F, and that doesn't count windchill. May I please just get back under the blankets with the cat, ( Read more... )
