Dear self,
As long as you continue to rely on the combination of the N'fld Transit and the laundromat that is a mile away, please remember to bring your phone in case the transit shuttle comes too early to pick you up and you miss it. That way you won't end up hauling a third of your body weight in clothes home in the duffle that isn't supposed to be a backpack and thus does not have padded straps. While it turns out that it's not a bad walk, those straps could possibly inflict nerve damage in your shoulders, and it's just not worth that to keep your pride in being independent. Do not confuse your current cheerful state at not freaking out and managing on your own in a mini-crisis with the result of a good idea to save a dollar on transit and get exercise on a regular basis. Be kind to your shoulders. Take your phone and call for help.
With concern,
me
