Thanks for the entertaining recap! You had me cracking upppp. And of course! A leprechaun! Though then I was all, why then why not a centaur? And then I remembered all of those centaur fics and then I thought maybe he should be a My Little Pony. That's a thing now too, you know.
*sigh*
I miss Simon. Someone did one of his fave songs this week and he wasn't there to be rude about their performance and it made me saddddd. I am happy you finally got to the wrestling bit, yay! But there is more goodness to come, yay! Man, there's this one bit in this one episode... I can't wait for your recap. :DDDDDD
I kinda want to see a pic of the lighting guy now because Ryan's been referring to him by name every week which I don't think he's ever done before. But I like anyone who decides to out Ryan as a leprechaun by having shamrocks dance around his head.
How did the wrestling thing even come about? I mean, yes, James, whatever, but in my head it went more Ryan trying to think of new and inventive ways to show off his ass on the show and maybe as a side benefit get to climb around in the laps of some really muscly guys while he's at it. And he's brainstorming and making a list of increasingly outrageous scenarios and crossing them off and then finally he's like "I've got it! Somebody get me the number for Hulk Hogan!"
Heh, it never occurred to me that knowing his name was Kieran was probably enough to figure out exactly who he was and find a pic. Thanks!
Yay, I'm glad Ryan is still being playful. For a while there this season it seemed like he was keeping it strictly professional and not really doing anything silly.
Your screencaps are truly a thing of beauty. I think the shot of Ryan's butt should be framed and mailed to Simon, the person most likely to be able to appreciate it for what it represents. :-)
Is so overcome with the tragedy that is happening on Haley's chin that he makes a giving-the-camera-the-finger blunder the likes of which we haven't seen since season one when Ryan had to stop the entire show to be all "SIMON YOU ARE GIVING AMERICA THE FINGER!!! but I know these things are different on your side of the pond and you won't understand if I give you a discreet signal so instead I'll leave the stage and walk over to you to physically shield your finger from the camera and then get all grabby with your hand and wrist until you stop......... and call you 'Pretty Boy' in the process." You CANNOT forget the "Pretty Boy," that was the best part of that whole exchange

OMG! Somehow in all my many viewings of that clip I missed that Ryan called him Pretty Boy! How on earth did that slip by me? I was so distracted by the touching that I never really listened tor what Ryan was saying. OMG!!!!
Man, wasn't season 1 kind of the greatest? I like watching how their relationship on the show changed with time, how they stopped being so lopsided power-wise when Ryan started asserting himself more and pushing back more and whatnot in later seasons, but season 1 was amazing for all their "yes, we just met and yes, we are already fucking and can't take our eyes off each other"ness.
Sometimes I feel ungrateful, because while I am completely confident in my beliefs that they are in a romantic relationship, that knowledge by itself is not enough for me. I want the details. I want to know when they started fucking, when things changed from being primarily physical to emotional, what the hell that tension during Season 6 was all about, and exactly how things got to the present point where everything appears to be under control. I want someone to sit down with me and give me the whole story. Randy, Nigel, are you listening?

There's your pic of Kieran. And just you wait. There's more of the Ryan into the audience thing later. I think you are correct in your bum assumption.
