I have moved from a major metropolis to a small small country town. There is no grocery store here. No coffee shop either. Yet I am pursuing my passion of ministry. Last Sunday was my first service. I have always known that packing up and moving was a pain. Now that I am doing it again I can say that it is ever so true. This move has a twist though. I am moving to another province. It seems the Gemini part of me needs to do things more than once in order for them to be final. I am at the final learning circle for the theme year of social ministry. This time around coming to school feels very different. I went to the grad ceremony and was at council for a couple of days and now I go back to the intense learning for the remainder of my time here. I finished working on Friday. After 18 years we had a party at a local pub and I was so touched by the many people who showed up to wish me well. I wanted to be sad that I was leaving but I just couldn't muster it up. I will miss much about that place but it truly was time for an amicable separation. What was fun you ask? I went on another job interview this week and it was fun. Generally, I'm not a big fan of 2 hour interviews but when there is laughter and a sense of community in the making it is fun. I don't know if I will get the job or not - that is not up to me.
