I am the kind of woman that sits at home on a Saturday night in sweats, tortoiseshell glasses, mangy hair, drinking white russians and reading Durkheim. I am also the kind of woman that is okay with this.

When I'm old, the only difference will be that I won't be reading philosophy/sociology for school anymore.

Last night I came home sometime around 1am. My glasses were frosted, and as I walked into my house, I accidentally stepped full force on my cat's tail. There are people in my classes I dislike. Sometimes the reasons why I dislike them are obvious, and sometimes I cannot actually pinpoint what it is about them that makes me want to wring their neck whenever they sit down for a lecture. When being smart defines who I am, it only makes sense that I take bad grades personally. Not personally like "oh no, I didn't do well on this particular assignment" or whatever, but personally like "Oh, I am no longer the person I am supposed to be."
