The party was a smashing success, but Tamara was too rambunctious to take coherent pictures, so I'm still trying to find a good one out of her fellow grad school students' stashes. San Diego *rumble*
We woke up simultaneously at just past 4am to the sound of distant rumbling. Then the dwarf hamsters drowned it out with their hyper wheel chatter. For a second I was tense and fearful, poised to take action in case the vibrations worsened, but it was all over in about 3 seconds. The internet confirmed it: Earthquake! Looks like a 4.0.
