Second annual Gypsy Picnic
Went to the Gypsy Picnic food trailer festival on Saturday. Was fun. We didn't start off in an ideal way, as the first food truck we hit was Rockin Rolls. It was a tasty but large pot roast sandwich with mashed potatoes. If you're going to try a lot of food trucks, it's better if they'd sell smaller portions of each. Phantom Live From The Royal Albert Hall In London Review
So today, for the 25th anniversary of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera, there was a performance at the Royal Albert Hall in London that was streamed live to movie cinemas all over. The Curse
Really loving this story song right now. It's hauntingly beautiful. (Pun intended.) One thing I like about it is that it's a bit open to interpretation. I like this version with the puppets, but I'm a little torn about whether the visuals add or detract from the impact of the song.
