I learned devastating news today. My favorite Phantom venue, The Las Vegas Spectacular is closing Sept. 2nd.
Man, I'm really bummed. I always hoped to see it there a couple more times so I could see the chandelier fall from multiple angles. You know, once from the balcony to watch it fall and once from right under it!
If you've never seen the Vegas version, it's slightly trimmed down, but it adds some great effects in that are well worth it. And that was my favorite performance of the lead role as well. I really love that version. Such a pity.
