English is my second language, so I had trouble understanding some dialogues as well. I went to the Logan Lucky Reddit discussion thread, someone offered this explanation:

Normally a phone's service would be cut off on day 61 of not paying because they only get 60 days to pay. Well it never did shut off on day 61, but instead continued on for 6 months of what appeared to be "free" service. Normally they would never let someone have free service of course, something was up. Turns out, the FBI wanted to keep his phone on to tap in and listen to his conversations to find evidence against Channing. So, when the service finally cut off, that meant the FBI had given up on listening to him, thus meaning the case was closed. Hence, free to get the money. If you're interested in reading real movie fans' reactions, Reddit is much better. On Reddit, there are no over-energetic Sebastian Stan fans ( ... )

There's another explanation: Throughout most of the movie he has his cell phone deactivated because he can't pay the bill. Then, after the caper, he reactivated his plan but only paid his bill for a month or two. That way if he was still able to make calls or texts after not paying his bill, he would know if he was being investigated/wiretapped. After about 6 months of nonpayment, the phone company finally shut off his service which let him know that no one was listening anymore.

Ah, makes sense.

There are so much little details in that film.
It would be worth it to watch it again.

Come back again after you watch it. It's a much cleverer heist than I originally thought. I missed a few things when I watched it last night. I need a second viewing. Also people on reddit kept mentioning a bear in the woods, I can't remember there was a bear. Hope you can catch it.

It was such a fun movie. I kept being pleasantly surprised by all the cameos. My favorites were Mr Clarke from Stranger things (he has like 2 seconds) and Dwight Yoakam who is a very underrated character actor (I like him in Panic Room and The Newton Boys. In the Newton boys Dwight plays the guy who explodes the safes in the bank, just some fun trivia) I really liked all the characters too. The heist was a bit convoluted but thanks for explaining the cell phone thing. One of my favorite scenes was Daniel Craig writing the chemistry equations on the wall.

I don't get the Sebatian Stan stuff or what his relevance in the movie was, the other Nascar driver had more of a plot or maybe I missed what Sebatian's characters point was.

I always remember country roads from Whisper of the Heart. It is a great song and it was a cute scene.

The movie is smartly designed. If one pays attention to every detail, one will enjoy it more. After the second viewing, I noticed we met the purple-haired woman at the beginning of the movie when Jimmy visited her sister in the salon. Since Jimmy knew the time the purple-haired woman went to the church, he could phone the police in advance her car to stop. In turn, when Millie could get away from speeding ( ... )
