The movie is smartly designed. If one pays attention to every detail, one will enjoy it more. After the second viewing, I noticed we met the purple-haired woman at the beginning of the movie when Jimmy visited her sister in the salon. Since Jimmy knew the time the purple-haired woman went to the church, he could phone the police in advance her car to stop. In turn, when Millie could get away from speeding.

Also the beard guy Earl, we first met him when Jimmy visited Clyde's bar after Jimmy lost his job. Earl was the guy Jimmy greeted on the way in. Then we could saw Earl again when Jimmy sprayed tanned his daughter. Eventually we found out Early was crucial to the plan. Anyway, a lot of planning happened off screen, Soderbergh just left enough clues for viewers to figure it out themselves. This process is the most fun part of watching the movie.

Speaking of Dwight Yoakam, even I can never spell his name without copy and paste, I remember his face. Sebastian Stan's character's only purpose was to discredit that annoying soft drink sponsor Max Chilblain. But I don't think Jimmy and his gang could foresee they would bump into Chilblain on the way out. I noticed Soderbergh cut a few scenes from various trailers and TV spots, so maybe he cut Stan's scenes as well? Also, I found it funny some Stan fans claimed this character is Stan's second best character after the Winter Soldier.

I feel disappointed that Soderbergh's distribution plan didn't work this time. Some viewers claimed they didn't even know this movie was out before Friday. I hope eventually people will discover this little jem when it is released on digital and physical media.
