@_@ How could she not know who the effing awesome Jon Stewart is? You must fix this (unless she's a Republican...in which case that may not be the best route).
*sigh* Firefly was such a fantastic show...I'm still sad they canceled it, but then we got Serenity and it was love. I used to have an America icon that said "Big damn hero". Although what did she think of Star Wars and Dune? And which Star Wars movie did you show her?
She's not Republican. That's why I threw a pillow at her head last night when she told me she had no idea who I was talking about. :D I must fix this.
I miss Firefly still. I liked Serenity, but then reading about all the things they planned to do with the show, in some ways I'm almost sad they did Serenity, because now they can never go back and do those things (and I will never be okay with one of the people who died. It just... no. It wasn't fair to anyone, and I know this is Whedon BUT COME ON. ;_;). But on the other hand, yes, Serenity was pretty damn awesome.
America would totally be a Big Damn Hero. :D I had her watch the Original Trilogy (the Han and Luke and Leia ones) she'd seen the Prequels. And the Dune movie was the 2000 Miniseries. But she enjoyed both of them, and was in love with Firefly. She just had never gotten around to seeing any of it before. I changed all that. I also got her into Hetalia...
*snickers* Oh no, another victim of Meghan's violence when her friends have not seen she thinks they should see. Hope you didn't take off her head with that pillow...:)
