For all of my friends in and around the San Diego area, this Thursday, Sept 23rd. The Palominos will be doing a song or two on the KSWB morning news, Fox channel 5. We are supposed to play at around 8:45 AM. For those of you who have never seen the Palominos play tune in and find out what the excitement is all about :-)

On May 2nd & 3rd I go into the Soil Of The South recording studio in San Diego to record with the Palominos. My first professional recordings in almost 11 years. I'm so excited!!

OK so I'm going to Orlando, FL from May 10th through the 17th. Shortly after I get back I go into the recording studio to cut the vocals on the upcoming album for the Palominos. It's so weird, I just got hired to be their vocalist/rhythm guitarist and now I'm recording. I feel like this is a scene out of "How To Suceed In Business Without Really ( Read more... )

Well I rehearsed with the Palominos this last Saturday and everyone (the guys in the band, their manager, and myself) were very happy with the results. So I've got two expenses I have to get - A new acoustic guitar as mine is pretty worn out and a band uniform. Thier uniform consists of a western cut jacket and a cowboy hat. We're having an election here in Los Angeles for mayor and other city government seats and apparently.....no one cares!! Antonio Villaraigosa is running for a second term as mayor, but there have been no mudslinging, in fact no campaign ads ads at all.
