What if they had an election and nobody came
We're having an election here in Los Angeles for mayor and other city government seats and apparently.....no one cares!! Antonio Villaraigosa is running for a second term as mayor, but there have been no mudslinging, in fact no campaign ads ads at all. If it wasn't for the fact that I see 9 other names on the ballot (including one named David "Zuma Dogg" Saltsburg who I might vote for just for the name alone)I would assume Villaraigosa is running unopposed. Rumor has it that Villaraigosa may be running for governor when Ah-nolds term ends next year. I hope he does. We someone better than the idiot that's been there and preferably it will be a Democrat. But back to this election. From the news reports I've heard, voter turnout has been very low and may hit an all time low for a mayoral election. Like the old saying goes, if you don't vote-don't bitch!
