Jim's memory of the past couple days was a bit hazy (he had a strange feeling that the name 'Dwight' would haunt him forever, for example), but he knew that it wasn't good. What he and Pam went through in their future states was just plain unpleasant and he was just going to mope about it for a while. Alone. In the dark.

Pam kind of had to talk to Jim about what had happened in the pool the night before, and...yes. All of that. She'd spent the day wrestling with the decision of how to talk to him. Which was why she finally, finally found herself gently tapping on his door.
