Jim sat. And waited. And tried not to be nervous but failed miserably at that. Then he lit the candles Pam had requested, which was probably not the best thing to do while being nervous. But at least he didn't set anything on fire. That had to be a good omen.

Jim's memory of the past couple days was a bit hazy (he had a strange feeling that the name 'Dwight' would haunt him forever, for example), but he knew that it wasn't good. What he and Pam went through in their future states was just plain unpleasant and he was just going to mope about it for a while. Alone. In the dark.

Yesterday was nuts. Honestly, Jim didn't know what was worse, the fact that he got up and sang barbershop for a while or the fact that he had that "Baby on Board" song stuck in his head.

Either way, he wasn't leaving his room today. Or ever.
