Pam was fairly bored, which was why she was poking around on the internet and reading Cracked. That 'Five Most Horrifying Bugs in the World' article was going to haunt her. And she was going to have nightmares from the stupid hippo picture on the other article.

When Pam went to bed on Friday night, she was not cylindrical. She had arms, and legs, and frizzy hair. She did not have the word "PAM" written across her, and she could not be used to lubricate cooking surfaces not dirty not dirty not dirty.
Somehow, over the course of the night, this all changed.

Pam was bored, like a big bored, bored, bored thing.
Which was why she was quietly absorbed in playing Tetris while marathonning the last season of ANTM, still on her computer. She'd pretend she wasn't if she was interrupted. Maybe.
