1. Have you ever done something awful to your hair? What happened?

I've never had a perm that worked for me. I go to the trouble and expense of getting my hair permed, I follow the care instructions to the letter, and a week later you'd never know I'd bothered. That isn't exactly 'awful,' but it's damned annoying.

On the 24th of July I realized there had been much too long a gap between my posts, and I resolved to get back on track: I would post every day for a month, starting with my July 24 post and ending on August 23.
