My Mount TBR challenge is coming along well. Only about four books to go to reach my goal. :-)

Captain Fantastic is on my list to watch, and I may have to add Hell or High Water, you make it sound so good.

Let me know what you think if you do watch either of them. I'm especially interested in CF because I can't see how anyone could dislike HoHW (but I may be a wee bit biased.) FanSee

Loved it. I read it because it satisfied my criteria for a "book that was banned at some point." Some school boards decided it was 'inappropriate' (i.e., too realistic) for middle schoolers. It's a great book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I had a middle school kid, I definitely let them read it. I'd even encourage them to do so. FanSee

You posted about this 12-book challenge before so, I decided to take it on. I have one, a book published this year, to go :) I'm also doing the 50-book and a 100-movie challenges. I've found that the movie challenge is particular positive because now, instead of not watching a movie with Daiv and Luaren I may not be entirely sure about, preferring to read, I do and so far, I haven't been disappointed and am spending more time with them. Win/ win :) I will definitely add it to my mission101 for next year!!

Yay for being more sociable and double yay for widening the scope of the movies you see. I miss watching with Samantha. She's so busy that she doesn't watch many anymore and never has time to go to the theater. Boo hiss. FanSee

You've certainly got a challenge here - good luck with it. I only know a couple of the authors but the titles look interesting.

I bought Truth by Peter Temple in Melbourne, and it's set in Melbourne. It's a police procedural. I had a hard time getting into it -- started it once and put it down after a chapter or two -- but I ended up enjoying it. You might like it, too. FanSee
