Up:  Got to spend all day Monday with a good friend

Down:  T has been sick all week.

Up:  In spite of T being home all week, I've still gotten some writing done.

Down:  That writing equals less than 1500 words

Up:  I did finish chapter 3 and I'm pretty happy with it.

Wow, it feels like forever since I last posted one of these.  But seeing how it's the first Tuesday of the year, it feels somehow appropriate to post my first ever teaser for Dreamwalker.  This book will be told in alternating first person narratives and to start us out is my female MC, Rachel.  So without further ado...

So we're currently in the middle of our first big storm of the season. We've only had two other days with snow so far, both an inch or less and both within the past week. How do you NaNo people do it? Seriously? I can't imagine writing 50K in one month (not at my snail's pace, anyway) let alone do it in November! With all the half-days, no school days, holiday preparations, Thanksgiving, baking, etc., plus the usual craziness of life, I hardly ever get to touch my writing in November.
