Over by the front door was a sign reading:

Earlier in the evening there was general milling about and Tino serving drinks and such, but then, just before 8, music swelled.

( I accidentally wrote an intro song for Frank to sing oops. )

Lucille had only signed up for this because she was bored and because it would come across as respectably sociable. Once at the bar she felt out of place. How had the world changed so much that a lady could go to a bar on her own, with the intent to talk to strangers? On the other hand, she had no reason to be concerned about her reputation, and at least that was something.

Skaar wasn't fully sure why he was here. Probably to 'be more social,' even if he thought that was dumb. But whatever. Having a few more connections in Fandom could only help. And at least he started off with someone he knew already.

That was not a planned pickup line as much as it was Rey trying to figure out if this was a normal thing here.
