Homecoming Carnival | Post II | The Park | Friday, October 24

The carnival was still going strong, and of course the booths were always a big draw! Whether you wanted to kiss someone, see them sopping wet in late October in Maryland, or just throw pie in their face, there was plenty more to do!

There was probably still glitter involved somehow.

"I'm not entirely sure how I ended up here," Four admitted. "So far it's been pretty quiet, so that's a plus?"

"Not at all," Four said. "I don't want to be a complete disaster at this."

"I'm sure you wouldn't be a complete disaster at this," Sia said. "Or even a partial one."

"And you can put money into this terrifyingly beglittered jar to find out," Four said, arching an eyebrow and trying--mostly successfully--to hide his nerves.

Dauntless was fairly anything goes when it came to sex, but Abnegation had been the opposite, and he'd fallen somewhere in between.

"Well, now I have to," she said, like she wouldn't have anyway, and put some money in the jar.

Dammit, she didn't even touch it and she had more glitter on her now.

"You've got more on--" he gestured at her cheek. "Sorry. This stuff gets everywhere. My leather jacket's going to be sparkly for months."

Sia brushed at her cheek, which would probably not help. "I doubt it's very often a person has to leave a fair and head straight for the shower because of glitter, but that's probably happening."

Four paused to consider that mental image because he was 16 and not blind, and then smiled. "Hopefully not before you get what you paid for."

"That would just be silly," Sia said, leaning in a little.

Four met her halfway, resting his forehead against hers for a second before giving her a soft kiss.

Sia kissed him back, even if she did add a little more pressure and no one should be able to blame her.
