The carnival was still going strong, and of course the booths were always a big draw! Whether you wanted to kiss someone, see them sopping wet in late October in Maryland, or just throw pie in their face, there was plenty more to do!

There was probably still glitter involved somehow.

For the mumblemumblity last decade or so, Anakin had found himself in a dunk tank in October. At this point he was used to it.

He climbed up onto the rickety wooden seat and began taunting students, alumni and faculty as they went by.

Anakin was a dirty cheater and not above using the Force to make people miss or make the mechanism misfire: he was confident he wouldn't end up with an unattractive head cold for Rory's birthday.

See what a good teacher Irene was? She was here, even if she hadn't signed up. She was positively brimming with school spirit, or something.

Now, granted, she had worn something a touch less elaborate than her usual (like she was going to wear a McQueen to a pie-throwing event, for god's sake), and her hair and makeup was similarly a little less done than usual.

She felt that both of those were warranted preparations for the possibility of a pie in the face, thank you.
