Since no murder carnival had decided to visit the island recently, the Student Council had agreed that holding the regular, traditional carnival would be a good way to start out Homecoming Weekend. The carnival was still going strong, and of course the booths were always a big draw! Whether you wanted to kiss someone, see them sopping wet in late October in Maryland, or just throw pie in their face, there was plenty more to do!

There was probably still glitter involved somehow.

Soooo the carnival was out this year, due to that whole murder carnival this summer. But it did bring the arrival of the Homecoming Fall Festival, which was open nice and early for everyone to get playing around and mingling. Bright and early on Friday morning, the Fandom High 2013 Homecoming carnival opened its doors (so to speak) to welcome this year's students, teachers, townies and visiting alumni for a day of fun and activities galore. Sure, with the advent of wee tinies, some of the booths in this section of the park had changed, but the spirit was still the same. Edible glitter and pictures of the huggable werewolf decorated the new and exciting hugging booths (cootie shots optional), dunk tanks (swimmies not optional), and pie tossing books.
