There's been a lot of running around today, in and out of a carwash, down to town and back, and checking in with the Magic Reserves, and Dinah got back to the dorms without grabbing dinner. The smells wafted her down to the Common Room, her mouth watering.

"Fooooooooooooooooooood." She caught sight of George and grinned. "Did you do this? If you did you are my new most favorite person ever."

[NOM NOM NOM.]

"Then I guess I'm your new most favorite person ever!" George responded, grinning. "I did make it, yeah. And there's dessert in the freezer. Rosewater-lime sorbetto."

"Eeee!" Dinah squeezed George's shoulder fast before hurrying over to the food, and dishing up a burger with cheddar and 'shrooms, tomato, yummm, and lots of peppers, then grabbed a drink and flopped down next to George, beaming at him, feeling all kinds of affectionate and squeeze-the-George. "You rule." She bit into the burger with a sigh of relief and nearly rolled her eyes in happiness. "Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."

"That good?" George said, laughing. The physical contact was... nice. Very niche. He found himself responding to it a little more than he was used to -- just the moon, he told himself. Nothing more than that.

Jennifer wandered in, absolutely enraptured by the smell.

"Oh, George, did you do all this?" she said.

"Guilty as charged!" George replied, practically sing-song. "Feel free to help yourself!"

"You're amazing," Jennifer said. "I don't know why I ever had doubts about you."

"Oh, well, I just do my best," George replied. "It's just cooking."

It was a very, very, very smug Romeo who left his room toward the evening. Smug and STARVING.

"Are you cooking for everyone?" he asked.

[OOC: SP likely for next hour and a bit.]

"Anyone who comes in, at least!" George said. "I can hardly eat it all myself, can I?" Never mind the dent he was putting into it.

"You look like you're trying," Romeo laughed as he filled a plate with a salad and a burger. "Thank you. This all looks wonderful."

George shrugged. "Just really hungry tonight," he said. "It happens to me sometimes."

Y'know, like for a week before the full moon every month.

Turtle absolutely, positively, no doubt about it could not be in her room right now. No way, no how, ugh, she hated this week.

But there was food.

"Oh, please, please, please tell me you've made lots of that...."

George waved at the serving platters on the counter. "Help yourself," he said, grinning.

"Ohmigod," Turtle gushed, closing in on the food. "I love you. You're incredible. I could kiss you right now."

And she could. She thought about it. But that's why she was stuffing her face, distracting one hunger with another.

"Oh, well, I don't think you need to go that far," George replied. "A simple thanks will suffice."

Diana had run out of things to waste time on, and wandered into the common room. "You cook?"

"Apparently," George retorted, grinning. "Want some?"

"Do you cook well?" Diana checked, setting Samuel down on a couch.

George laughed. "Oh, well, I haven't had any complaints. I guess your best bet is to try it and find out?"
