WAT

Sorry, for some reason I thought this was BRPS. Ignore me.

Though if you have to say that you're not sexist, that might be a warning sign that you are.

no problem

"Though if you have to say that you're not sexist, that might be a warning sign that you are."

Yes that would send up a signal to myself also. And i hestiated before writing it.

But, right off the bat, i can think of a number of women on this forum whom i am/was very appreciative of -- women whom i respected. This is equal to the number of women who i view as gulible and who are buying in to this nonsense, "hook, line and sinker."

Sometimes i think that when i took over as moderator i had no idea of the mess that i was getting myself in to. But i've had a lot of good come from it also.

Why does it matter that the people who were falling for this guy's spiel are women anyway?

Good question. Actually, several women did NOT fall for this guy's spiel and left, more or less, as a direct result of it. Three of whom i have kept in contact with ( ... )

You can't prevent someone from being stupid.

Thanks for the feedback.

"You can't prevent someone from being stupid."

No you can't. But you can find a nice, gentle way of disagreeing with them. a way of correcting them without insulting them.

And that's just the thing. This narcissistic SOB can be believable.

People warned me about him years ago. I replied, "No, no, XXXXX is good guy...." I was duped myself.

It's really not that he's especially intelligent. Rather he's just such a wackjob you wouldn't expect that he's playing you. He takes every opportunity to manipulate.

the situation that I (we) am (were) in gives him ample opportunity to manipulate and exploit. It's a long drawn out story that i'll not belabor you with.

If you're not going to provide any details, how do you expect us to help you, much less have an interest in the scenario? Throw us a frickin' bone, son.

Would this individual, by any chance, be the same person (I *think* he was most recently known as, "Andrew Blake" - though, I could be wrong) as, mentioned:

Here: http://kumquatwriter.wordpress.com/2011/11/26/a-letter-to-the-daydians-my-life-with-andrew-blake-laid-bare/#comments

Here: http://turimel.livejournal.com/profile (whole journal is devoted to this person's shenanigans!)

And, known variously as, Amy Player, Jordan Wood, Andrew Blake, Victoriabitter, probably lots of others I'm forgetting.

Just some of the particulars (aliases in foreign countries, heart condition, etc.) rang a bell. :-/

You'll need to give us a little more information, bud. There's quite literally nothing to go on here.
