Mission 6: Firefly Fortune Festival

Purpose: To catch fireflies and get fortunes told
Location: Rainbow Hill
Time: Evening on September 6th
Warnings: None, really. Maybe some suggestive themes, at the worst.

Summary: Tami had officially begun the firefly catching game, complete with a reception

Rose showed up at the field right on time, eager to start the event. She loved catching fireflies (or glowworms, as she called them) on summer nights at home, and she obviously hadn't had a chance to do anything like it since boarding the train-- so when she heard about this little outing, she jumped at the chance to participate. And with real fortunes as prizes? That just made things all the better.

Heading immediately over to the reception desk (it wasn't dark enough to go out to the field yet), she picked up one of the information fliers and started reading it-- or, more accurately, skimming it. It didn't look very interesting.

Rally was rather pleased to see Rose show up for the event. Giving the girl a smile from across the desk, he went on to try making her feel welcome.

"It looks like you're the first one here! Do you have any questions?" He wondered if she was looking for a particular piece of information, seeing her grab a flier as quickly as she did.

"I don't think so..." Rose glanced up at Rally, then back at the field behind her. "When do we get to go out there?"

Part 2: Field

The entrance gate to the field was opened, seeing as it was about time to get things started.

For anyone who decided to enter, there were some blue and yellow fireflies dancing nearby to the gate.

Entering the field, Cynthia seemed eager to get started. She figured she would take the simple, scientific approach to this.

"One of each type should suffice. I'll have to stay alert for them." Noticing the blue and yellow lights moving through the air in front of her, she wondered how many colors there were in total. She'd have a good time trying to catch them all.

Hinata's methods were a lot less... refined. She was jumping at any firefly that would light up near her, trying to catch them between cupped hands, but failing rather miserably. None the less she was laughing and seemed to be having a lot of fun even though she kept falling flat on her face.

Part 3: Booth

Waiting in the fortune booth back at the entrance, Tami was rather excited that people actually decided to show up for this. Being as patient as she could, given her excitement, she tapped her nails against the top of her small table. She wondered how everyone would end up doing, and what kinds of fireflies they'd be bringing over to show her.

Tails proudly swooped down in front of the booth, having successfully captured a few specimens. Going into the booth, he hoped that something good would come out of his diligence.

Pleased that someone had just entered the booth, Tami quickly put an end to her tapping and bounced with excitement.

"Finally, somebody came! I was getting a little bored." With a smile, she gave Tails a good look-over, and prepared herself to give him his prize. "So, show me what you've got. Did you find any cool colors?"
