Moving right along

Not only is our new SF apartment cheaper than what we are paying now...but the awesome daycare I found is cheaper than the place Jack goes to currently.  Also, the new provider is Brazilian and will keep up on the Portuguese education.  How freaking perfect is that?!

It's bizarre that by moving to the city I'll be saving almost $400 a month and ( Read more... )

That's awesome!

Just don't budget that for anything else until you've been there for a few months. You'd be surprised how quickly the higher costs for essentials in the city can add up (gas, groceries, toiletries, etc.). When I first moved in with Gunnar my living expenses were cut in half yet it never felt like I had more money. ;-)

Hey, well done. That's fantastic that you'll be able to continue Jack's Portuguese, cut down on your commute, and hopefully make life easier in general. I'm a big fan of simplicity.
