Euphoria
I got that job!!!I start on a trial basis next Wednesday through Friday, and then if they still love me I can work for them and actually get paid! Real money! Full-time (but flexible enough for me to still play baseball) hours! Downtown! In an office building! And they're open to listening to my input because it's a start-up ( Read more... ) -
Shut up
There is a car alarm on the other side of Yonge Street that has been going off for the past like 15 minutes. It's not even 7:30 a.m. yet! I was already up, but that's besides the point. I can't hear anything I'm listening to. Car alarms should automatically deactivate after a few minutes because it's pretty pointless to just keep going for this ( Read more... ) -
The oxymoron that is Internet privacy
I had to change the privacy settings on some journal entries because, for some reason, even though I've taken my full name off of everything having to do with this journal, it still comes up in Google when I search my name. I don't necessarily want potential employers screening me based on my livejournal, so some more personal entries are "friends ( Read more... ) -
Sleep fighting
One minutes the cats were play fighting, the next minute they were fast asleep. Rumour's foot is under Sahara's chin from when he was trying to kick her away because she kept biting his tail, which she is now using as a pillow. Her leg is still on top of his head from when she was trying to push him away because he was nipping at her legs.

Weekend ramblings
Well, the weather sucks but at least everything is already green. It makes it a bit more bearable. That, and the fact that the TTC strike is over. I have no idea how Ron would have gotten to work today if the provincial government didn't pass back-to-work legislation yesterday. I bet that was the fastest bill to ever pass through there ( Read more... ) -
Sick doggie
Buddy is sick again. For the past few days he's been eating nothing all day and not really pooping during the day either. Then, just before we go to bed, he'll eat. When we get up in the morning, there's one or two huge piles (or puddles) of poop just outside the kitchen in the dining room ( Read more... )
