I got that job!!!
I start on a trial basis next Wednesday through Friday, and then if they still love me I can work for them and actually get paid! Real money! Full-time (but flexible enough for me to still play baseball) hours! Downtown! In an office building! And they're open to listening to my input because it's a start-up!
OMG, first "real" (=paid) job in almost a year.

I don't know if that actually works or not. I can't tell. I'm too excited about everything. All I know is that I'm going to rock this job for the next two months, and maybe even into the school year.
Heather should be here any minute and we're going to enjoy the sunshine by the pool...
then I'm getting a decent haircut...
then Heather and I are going to check out Jessica Valenti from feministing.com read from her new book, followed by a panel discussion with her and a few other awesome feminist heroes...
