You know, I've really come to hate the word "lady". It just feels so wrong. So patronizing. Miss Manners, who uses the word a lot, says that if one chooses to use it, one should employ the corresponding term for the other sex, namely "gentleman". There's a major storm going on outside. It's kind of invigorating, really. The only bad part about storms is potentially getting hit by lightning, which is why I stay inside.
