Though I was offered both of the jobs below, I turned them down. One was commission only (and I'm NOT doing that) and the other wanted me to work ridiculous hours, drive a crazy commute, and only paid $12.50 an hour. Yeah right!

Dean and I were without power for almost 20 hours yesterday/today. The power went out around 10 PM last night due to a severe wind storm that came through the Puget Sound area. Of course, we should be thankful that it wasn't worse. In some areas, trees went through houses and fell in the roadways. I think about 90,000 people are still without power ( Read more... )

Dean and I are at a Holiday Inn Express in Medford, OR. It's very early in the morning (like, 5:40ish), and I can't sleep because the hotel pillows are too flat, so I can't breathe very well when I lay down. Last night was certainly interesting.

Dean and I, for the first time ever, are cheering for the same sports team, the Dallas Mavericks. Dean is a Dallas fan in almost everything as it is, and usually, I'm not.
