Warning, it's a MLP fanfic story at the link in case you don't like that. But this is a well-done story, and just long enough to get the point across. I can think of some 'real' novels in bookstores that can't manage that.

That and it has a well-done and clever Tolkien reference in it near the end that some people might enjoy.

Thanks, that's a good one. I love the last panel, with sweet little Twilight telling the two Mythbusters guys, "I hate you with the intensity of a thousand suns" as she lies in the intensive care unit.

I just wish I knew more about the show so I could get more of the joke.

You're not familiar with Mythbusters? Gasp!

Basically they take on various urban myths (Or movie stunts) and try to replicate them in the real world to see if they're true or not. Frequently this seems to involve blowing stuff up a lot.

Oh, I know about the show, but I don't think I've ever seen an actual episode.
