Indescribeable exhaustion, breathlessness, severe abdominal pain and chest pain led to an ambulance to ST George's a week ago last Thursday. They kept me in overnight, found no treponin (a sign of heart damage) and sent me home. Everything got worse and last Wednesday found me at A & E at St Thomas's. I am wearing high heels today - not skyscraper, just OK for work high. I have not had the energy it takes to wear high heels (oh yes it takes extra energy, and if you have not experienced that you are lucky) for about two years. It feels so wonderful. So, so wonderful.

Today in my lunch hour I shopped at a chemists and browsed a book store. Before they unblocked my heart I would not have had the energy to do so. Hurrah!
