Indescribeable exhaustion, breathlessness, severe abdominal pain and chest pain led to an ambulance to ST George's a week ago last Thursday. They kept me in overnight, found no treponin (a sign of heart damage) and sent me home. Everything got worse and last Wednesday found me at A & E at St Thomas's. IBS?! IBS?! Sooo many people get told that! They seem to use it as shorthand for 'go away woman, we don't know what's wrong, so you're obviously whining!', then don't do anything until bits of you fall off.

You poor thing, what a rotten time, sorry to hear it's all so horrid. I'm back in the sarf London area now, so if you fancy a get well visit or coffee let me know :-)

Oh, that sounds like an awful runaround to be given. Glad to hear you're back out. Hope the foot behaves soon...

GRRR to the misdiagnosis, but pleased you got the ulcers and anaemia sorted. I hope the foot pain gets better soon...and all I can add is hang in there!
